A warm welcome to the 2022 WDSF World DanceSport Championship Latin presented by the Dance Sport Association of North Rhine-Westphalia on behalf of the German Dance Sport Federation (Tanzsport Deutschland).
We invite you to this very special event within the famous dance sport festival ‘Winter Dance Festival’ in the Westenergie Sporthalle in Muelheim an der Ruhr and look forward to the best Athletes of the world.

The preliminary schedule gives the couples a first overview of the evening event on Saturday, 10 December 2022. The final schedule will be published at a later date.

Adjudicators & Officials
Only persons licensed by the World DanceSport Federation will be assigned to judge international competitions. Information about the judges and officials will be published as soon as available.

Invitations
The invitation letter were sent by the German Dance Sport Federation (Tanzsport Deutschland) on Friday, 28 Oct 2022. Please check if you have received it. Otherwise please contact our colleagues of German Dance Sport Federation – contact details.
Shuttle Service
We will organize the couple’s complimentary transfer from the airport to the hotel and back. Please send us the flight details. We can also provide a transfer (to be paid) for accompanying persons and coaches. We will pick up the couples in time at the hotel and bring them back to the hotel after the competition. The travel time is only 5 minutes. We will send the departure times by e-mail shortly before the event.
FAQ
The Dance Sport Association of North Rhine-Westphalia (Organizer of the World Championship) provides the couples with two nights at the hotel Holiday Inn Express Muelheim an der Ruhr. As the available rooms are limited, the accompanying persons are asked to stay in one of the other partner hotels.

We recommend traveling to Düsseldorf Airport (DUS). The travel time to the hotel is only 20-30 minutes. Other airports are Cologne/Bonn (CGN, 55-80 minutes) or Dortmund (DTM, 55-80 minutes).

At this time, there are no Covid 19 restrictions. No proof of vaccination or testing is required. There is now only a mask requirement in public transportation, hospitals and at doctors’ offices.

Sportdeutschland.TV shows the 2022 WDSF World DanceSport Championship Latin in livestream. Viewing the stream is free of charge (with advertising in German).
We are currently in negotiation with some photographers. The recording for private purposes is allowed to all spectators. You are a professional photographer and would like to make an accreditation? Please contact us as soon as possible.
