Competitions
At this year’s edition, the organizing team is once again expecting many participants from Germany and around the world. 12 WDSF competitions with international participants and 91 open national competitions (DTV) of allmost all age groups in the Standard and Latin American dances for couples and soloists of the Children, Juniors I/II, Youth, Rising Stars and Main Group are on the competition schedule.
National competitions (DTV)
At Winter Dance Festival 2025, there will be 46 national competitions (DTV) for couples and 45 national competitions (DTV) for soloists in standard and Latin dances in the children’s, junior I/II, youth, and main groups I/II.

The 12 international competitions are arranged within the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF):
- WDSF Open Latin & Standard Junior I, Junior II, Rising Stars
- WDSF Open Solo Latin Female Junior I, Junior II
- WDSF Open Solo Standard Female Youth

Couples (DTV & WDSF)
Registration for couples for all national competitions (DTV) and international competitions (WDSF) is only possible online at https://entry.widafe.de.
Solo (DTV)
Registration for solo competitions is online possible online at https://solo.widafe.de.
Registration fees
Competitions for couples:
- DTV competitions for couples KIN / JUN / JUG: € 15
- DTV competitions for couples HGR / MAS: € 20
- WDSF competitions for couples: € 60
Competitions for solo dancers:
DTV competitions solo KIN / JUN / JUG: € 10
DTV competitions solo HGR / MAS: € 10
WDSF competitions solo: € 30
Notes:
- Registration fees apply per couple/soloist and per competition start registration.
- Registration fees are due for payment upon start registration.
- In the event of cancellation/non-participation, there is no entitlement to a refund of registration fees paid.

All registrations must be received by Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

Check-In
Die einem Paar zugeordnete Startnummer gilt am gesamtem Veranstaltungswochenende, d.h. einheitlich in allen Turnieren an allen Tagen. Der Check-in ist an den Veranstaltungstagen innerhalb der Servicezeiten bis 30 Minuten vor Beginn des Turniers möglich.
Standort des Check-Ins
Auch in diesem Jahr wird der Check-in im Foyer hinter dem Oberrang zu finden sein. Der Zugang für Teilnehmende erfolgt – genau wie für Zuschauende – ausschließlich über den Haupteingang der Westenergie Sporthalle.

Annahmeschluss
Der Check-in schließt an allen Veranstaltungstagen 30 Minuten vor Beginn des Turniers.

Hotels // Wo können wir übernachten?
Der Tanzsportverband Nordrhein-Westfalen hat eine große Anzahl an Hotelzimmern für Offizielle sowie Mitarbeiter*innen in mehreren Hotels gebucht. Da die Anzahl der Zimmer limitiert ist, werden die weiteren Athlet*innen und Begleitpersonen gebeten, sich rechtzeitig um eine Übernachtung in Mülheim an der Ruhr oder in der näheren Umgebung (Duisburg, Oberhausen, Essen) zu bemühen.

Der Deutsche Tanzsportverband (DTV) bietet über seinen kostenpflichtigen Kanal Tanzsport-TV aufwändig produzierte Live-Übertragungen der WDSF-Turniere an.

Wir sind derzeit in Verhandlung mit einigen Fotografen. Foto- und Videoaufnahmen von Zuschauern für die Privatnutzung sind uneingeschränkt erlaubt. Sie sind professioneller Fotograf und möchten sich offiziell akkreditieren lassen? Bitte melden Sie sich kurzfristig bei uns.
